Guest Editor's Note by Marco Pasqua

When most people hear the word “travel,” they think of postcards, passport stamps, and bucket lists. For me, travel has always been about something more: proving that inclusion can and should be present wherever the human spirit dares to go.

As someone born with cerebral palsy who uses a wheelchair, I’ve had to learn how to navigate the world in ways that most people don’t think twice about. But when I became a father in 2021, travel took on a new layer. It became about more than access — it became about legacy. I wanted my daughter Stella to grow up in a world where difference is normal, accessibility is expected, and possibility is never limited by perception.

In this edition, we explore accessible journeys not just through destinations, but through the eyes of people who live inclusion every day. Whether it’s paragliding off a mountain in Switzerland, navigating the intricate pathways of cruise ships, or simply getting through airport security with a toddler and a wheelchair in tow — these stories prove that travel isn’t just about where you go. It’s about how boldly you show up once you’re there.

I’m honoured to serve as guest editor and to highlight the voices of others who are also paving their own accessible paths. These are not stories of limitation. They’re testaments to innovation, resilience, and joy.

Here’s to the journeys that include everyone — and the ones still waiting to be written.
